Russ

Russ enriches our practice with years of valuable experience in veterinary medicine. He began his vet med career in 1988 in Tampa – he has worked with small animals, avians, equines, exotics, primates, reptiles, and wildlife! In addition to serving as an Associate Member Representative for the Florida Veterinary Technician Association (FVTA), he has also served as a liaison for the FVTA and Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), and as the Executive Director of Tampa Bay Animal Health Foundation (TBAHF). If that wasn’t enough to impress you, Russ also directed Vets4Pets, a charity initiative of FVMA/TBAHF. Russ’s primary professional interests at this time include mentoring veterinary staff and dentistry.

Outside of work, Russ is an avid gardener. He lives on a small farm with his wife of 22 years – along with 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 11 chickens! We are so lucky to have Russ on our team and caring for your pets!
