Melissa

Born and raised in Asheville, Melissa began her career in veterinary medicine in 2007 after first becoming an EMT and realizing that her true passion was caring for animals rather than pursuing human medicine. She has developed a strong passion for veterinary dentistry and brings years of experience in both general practice and specialty hospital settings. In the future, she hopes to continue her education and become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).

 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner of 22 years and their silver Lab, Sterling, exploring new places on Jeep adventures. Sterling firmly believes that “ball is life” and is always ready for a trip to the lake. They also love hiking, golfing, and traveling together.
