Kaela

Kaela was born in Houston, TX, but has called WNC home for over 12 years. She started her career working with animals in a dog daycare and boarding facility, as well as creating her own pet sitting business, which led to her interest in veterinary medicine. She is currently pursuing a degree in veterinary technology and is enrolled in an online program to become an RVT.

Kaela is passionate about Fear Free techniques; she is a certified Fear Free pet-sitter as well as a certified veterinary professional and enjoys working with high FAS patients. Dogs are Kaela’s passion, but she is also interested in reptiles and other exotics. She especially loves big dogs and has two herself; a Doberman pinscher and Doberman/Mastiff mix. Kaela’s faith in God is very important to her in both her personal and professional life and she is a proud member of Beech Glenn Baptist Church. Outside of work, Kaela enjoys hiking, going on picnics, listening to music and even dabbles in some guitar playing!
