Dr. Jim Earley
Dr. Jim Earley is a graduate of the Veterinary College at the University of Georgia (Cum Laude in 1991). He completed a rotating internship program in small animal medicine and surgery at Texas A&M University. He has continued his education through the years focusing on internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound (with a special interest in cardiac ultrasound), and Fear Free techniques. He is a proud Certified Fear Free Veterinary Professional and a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Earley grew up in Alabama, and always had a heart for animals. Pets were considered to be part of his family, and he was always willing to help injured wildlife. Veterinary medicine combines his passions for medical knowledge, technical skill, and cultivating the human-animal bond. He appreciates that many people recognize animals are more than pets – they are family. Dr. Earley enjoys working with families to provide the best veterinary visits.
Dr. Earley is a foodie who loves to cook and grill. Joined by his lovely wife, Georgia, they enjoy dining at many of the wonderful restaurants in the area. When away from practicing veterinary medicine, he enjoys restoring houses, fishing, mountain biking, and spending time with his crew. His crew includes two (or more…) dogs and a clowder of cats.
