Tanya

Tanya spent her first years in Okinawa, Japan before moving to a farm in middle TN. There, she developed a deep love for horses, later competing in show jumping and teaching riding lessons. Tanya graduated from Columbia State with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2011, beginning her career in small animal medicine as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT). Tanya has called WNC home since 2015, caring for critically ill and trauma patients in an ER/ICU as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), becoming a surgery team leader, and working in general/day-practice environments. Tanya finds great joy in working with other veterinary professionals, providing high-quality care (while taking time with each pet and their owner), pursuing continuing education, and passionately extending her caring heart for God’s creatures to the wonderful clients (and their owners) who entrust their care to our practice.

Tanya also enjoys cooking and baking, and crafting handmade gifts and cards, and volunteering at her son’s elementary school. She and her husband (Collin) enjoy exploring WNC together with their son (Hudson), who is the joy of their lives. They also have two very friendly indoor cats, “Baby Gray” and “Butters,” and a coonhound, “Daisy,” who are all part of their family.
